What Is a Persona? In product management, a persona is a profile of a product's typical customer. Personas are used to help a product manager (and others in the organization involved with the product's development) understand key traits, behaviors, goals, responsibilities, and needs of a specific type of user.
Why are Personas Important? If an organization builds and releases a product without a deep understanding of who that product is for, and what problems it will solve for them, it is more likely to fail than succeed.
What is a customer journey map? Although 18-56 is a broad range, it does help define the customer or the core audience for time travel. Users in this age range are accustomed to mobile devices and may have a higher ability to handle complex data streams. The users may also have a higher degree of social media awareness and activity. For example, look at the customer journey map for Adam as he is experiencing the TIMEPORIUM mobile app.
