Technologies: Docebo CMS, Kaltura Video Hosting
Project Overview: Spearheaded the transformation of the New York Life Learning and Development (L&D) department’s outdated microsite into a modern, user-friendly platform. This revitalization project aimed to enhance user engagement, improve the quality of learning resources, and support knowledge retention for New York Life’s employees.
Key Enhancements:
Multimedia Integration: Introduced interactive video tutorials hosted on Kaltura to deliver visually engaging, on-demand training materials. These tutorials covered a range of topics and were designed to accommodate different learning styles, making the content more accessible and impactful.
Interactive Learning Modules: Developed and embedded interactive modules within the microsite using the Docebo CMS, allowing employees to actively engage with learning content. These modules incorporated quizzes, scenario-based learning, and self-assessments to reinforce understanding and ensure better knowledge retention.Resource Library Expansion: Built a comprehensive resource library that provided easy access to a variety of learning aids, job aids, and reference materials. This library served as a central hub for employees to revisit and reinforce key concepts covered in training sessions.
Results:
Achieved a significant increase in user engagement as employees could now interact with learning materials at their own pace and revisit content as needed.
Improved knowledge retention and practical application of learning content, as employees could access interactive resources that reinforced key concepts.
Enhanced the user experience by making the microsite more visually appealing and easier to navigate, aligning with modern design standards and usability best practices.
This revitalized microsite now serves as a central hub for New York Life’s Learning and Development resources, supporting continuous professional development and helping employees meet their learning goals more effectively.
