Project Overview: Led the comprehensive redesign and migration of the Uxbridge School Department’s website, moving from a WIX platform to Schoolwires CMS to improve site functionality, security, and user experience.
Graphic Design: Created all original graphics and visual assets for the website, establishing a cohesive and professional look that aligns with the district’s brand and enhances engagement for site visitors.
Content Migration: Seamlessly ported over legacy content from the old WIX site to the new Schoolwires CMS, ensuring data integrity and continuity of information for the school community.
User Training: Conducted hands-on training sessions for three school administrators, teaching them how to navigate and manage the new CMS independently. Covered essential skills, such as updating content, managing multimedia, and implementing basic troubleshooting, empowering them to keep the website current.
Site Maintenance and Optimization: Regularly maintained and updated the site to ensure accurate, timely information and to address evolving needs. Improved website navigation and structure, enhancing user experience by making resources and information easily accessible to parents, students, and staff.
Community Impact: This project provided the Uxbridge school community with a reliable, user-friendly platform that supports seamless communication and information sharing, fostering a more connected and informed community
