To help CData sales teams confidently position CData Virtuality against key competitors, this Storyline module drops learners into an interactive virtual trade show — a bustling marketplace where Denodo, Dremio, and Microsoft Fabric, and CDATA each have their own booth.
Rather than presenting competitive intel as a static battlecard, learners navigate the floor, approach each booth, and engage in conversations with booth representatives. The dialogue surfaces each competitor's genuine strengths — because credible salespeople know their competition — before steering learners toward the differentiators that make CData Virtuality the stronger choice. Booth dynamics add a layer of storytelling: Denodo's line is the longest (enterprise name recognition), Dremio's reps are the loudest (aggressive cloud-native marketing), and Connect Cloud's booth has the most returns (limited scalability for complex environments).
The experience builds two things in parallel: knowledge (who the competitors are and where they're strong) and skill (how to communicate CData Virtuality's advantages in a real sales conversation). Learners leave with a working mental model of the market, not just a list of bullet points.
